[Features]
· The bearing box is a rectangular shape, and is mounted to the side walls of machinery. As a result, the bearing mounting part has a simple structure and can be used for a wide range of applications.

- Answer: Bearing units filled with general-purpose grease have an operating temperature range of -15°C to +100°C.
- Question: Is there a guideline for the interval between grease replenishments?
- Answer: The interval varies significantly depending on usage conditions. In environments with an operating temperature of 100°C and high levels of dust, it is recommended to replenish the grease every two weeks. For more detailed information, please refer to the manufacturer's instruction manual.
- Question: Can I use a different grease than the one initially filled-in?
- Answer: Generally, it is preferable to use the same grease as the initial fill. Greases are carefully manufactured by each company using selected base oils, thickeners, and additives. Mixing greases with different soap bases can alter the consistency and dropping point, significantly affecting lubrication performance. Also, mixing greases with different base oils, such as mineral and synthetic oils, can lead to incompatibility or oil separation. Even mixing greases with the same type of mineral oil from different manufacturers can cause mutual interference due to variations in oil types and additives. For general-purpose bearing units, Shell Lubricants Japan's Alvania Grease S is used.
