Quartz Heater (NSP12)
The Quartz Heater is a heater with a heating method using near infrared radiation.
[Features]
・ 85% or more of the input power turns into infrared rays and heats efficiently.
・ Standard heaters are manufactured to have a color temperature of 2,500 K, and the infrared wavelength range is distributed with a peak wavelength of approximately 1.2 μm.
・ This infrared wavelength is almost the same as the absorption wavelengths of the human body, water, and plastics, so the substance can be heated efficiently.
・ It is a heater with a quick rise that heats up almost at the same time when power is turned on.
・ A coiled tungsten filament is used as a heating element.
・ A quartz glass tube (ø10) is filled with halogen gas and is designed to have a long lifespan due to the halogen cycle.
・ By using a heat reflector, the radiation range of infrared energy emitted from the heater can be concentrated and the heating efficiency can be improved.
・ Infrared rays have a wide range of uses, and can also be used for heat treatment such as drying, curing and softening of polymer compounds (particularly synthetic resin materials), paint plating, adhesive manufacturing process and finishing.
