With other companies' products, chatter vibration occurred when the depth of cut (ap) increased, and efficiency could no be improved. In addition, burrs also occurred. PSTW had 1 flute less, but highly efficient machining was possible with an efficiency UP by 67%.

Highly efficient stable machining with tool runout of 300 mm (5D)
In machining with a long protrusion of L/D = 5, highly efficient machining was possible compared to other companies' products.
In addition, other companies' products had poor chamfer to the workpiece due to insufficient sharpness and chatter vibration occurred in the low rotation range (lined area on graph).
With excellent sharpness, PSTW was capable of stable processing even in the low rotation range.
